CHICAGO – Back 2 School America (B2SA), the national non-profit based in Chicago and renowned for their "Build-A-Kit" program providing over ten million vital school supplies to students-in-need, is announcing the last call for accepting teacher nominations as a part of the We Appreciate Teachers annual statewide contest.

25 Winning Teachers will be selected in the statewide contest, and receives:

Anyone may nominate a teacher (including the teacher themself). Teacher must currently be employed by a school within the state.

Most people understand that our teachers are burdened with managing large classroom sizes, paid insufficient salaries, and purchase school supplies out of their pockets simply because their students cannot afford them. Teachers across the state do this every year and the disparity of students attaining their vital school supplies is continues to grow.
